The problem
Most AI skin-analysis tools are trained predominantly on lighter skin, so they perform poorly for the people who make up most of Africa’s population. Access to dermatologists is also limited outside major towns.
What Lususu AI does
- Detects likely skin conditions from images, with a model developed around African skin tones.
- Recommends both herbal and conventional (synthetic) remedy options for each result.
- Gives users and health workers a clear starting point for seeking appropriate care.

Lususu AI is a decision-support tool. It does not replace diagnosis or treatment by a qualified health professional.
