The problem
AgriTech platforms in Uganda often operate in isolation. Their data is fragmented and inconsistent, so financial service providers struggle to assess risk and extend credit to smallholder farmers.
What we are building
- A standardised data model and API layer for farmer, production and transaction data.
- Consent and data-sharing controls designed with platforms and lenders.
- A community pilot to validate the model before commercial rollout.
